COVID-19 Resources for Adults in Long-Term Care Programs

From Wisconsin Department of Health Services

October 5, 2020

iCare is sharing COVID-19 resources for adults in long-term care programs
iCare would like to share that the Wisconsin Department of Health Services has created a plain language section of the DHS website with resources specifically for adults in Wisconsin long-term care programs.

Direct Link:

This webpage provides information about how members can stay healthy, safe, and connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. People who participate in Family Care, Family Care Partnership, IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct), and PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) can find resources on accessing program services, increased contact with care teams and consultants, and helpful information to consider during the pandemic. iCare offers a Partnership plan called iCare Family Care Partnership.

This page also links to supplemental external resource documents, including but not limited to:

  • The Wisconsin BPDD COVID19 Toolkit and the Self-Determination playlist
  • The Wisconsin Disability Coalition’s absentee voting fact sheet
  • The Self-Advocacy Resource and Technical Assistance Center’s Plan Language Information on Coronavirus
  • COVID19 Resources for Special Educators, Therapists, and Families
