An affiliate of the National AHEC program, the Milwaukee AHEC has provided meaningful training programs, facilitated state and local partnerships, while growing the community health workforce in Southeast Wisconsin since 1992.
Milwaukee AHEC is celebrating 30 years of being a catalyst for health equity - a milestone that tells a story of resilience, innovative training & education, and a long history of strategic partnerships. As we celebrate this milestone, we are grounded by the magnitude of this moment and are truly thankful for our wonderful partners, students, and board members, past and present.
Launched amid health care workforce shortage projections in 1992, three decades later it is evident that this crisis has both defined and inspired our journey! As we embark on new challenges in an ever-changing workforce, we want to take a moment to celebrate how far we've come. We invite you to celebrate with us at our 30th celebration lunch on June 23rd at 11:30 at Alverno College.
Tickets are $45. For more information: https://www.milahec.org/30th
Where do I park?
Parking is free at Alverno. The closest lot to the luncheon is Lot A off of 43rd St. After parking, enter the Sister Joel Reading Center and follow signs to the Conference Center.
